I just want to make a quick shoutout to those who have a reason to cry.

Whether it’s because you’ve lost someone, broken up, or are experiencing heartbreak, it gets indefinitely easier, I promise. It’s not your fault, so don’t blame yourself for things you can’t control. I just want to let you know that there are people around you who care. You’re not alone. Lean on them, and you’ll get through this.

I know how it feels, to find a piece of your life missing, lost in the wind. I know what it means to miss someone, to miss the memories, and the smiles. And I know for certain the pain you’re going through. It gets easier.

Time is your best bandaid, and the pain is only temporary. But whatever you do, don’t forget. Memories are the only thing that last indefinitely, so long as you choose to keep them.

If you lost someone, celebrate their life. Don’t mourn.

If you’ve recently broken up with someone, you’ll find another. It seems as though there’s just one person in the world to love, and then you find someone else, and you think it’s crazy you were ever worried in the first place. Don’t measure your worth by the way people treat you.

And if you’re experiencing heartbreak, know that the heart is the strongest muscle in the body. It will endure.

Slowly, but surely, we’ll see that smile again. (:
